Vivienne Wiggins, Chief Executive Beacon House, will take up her role as Chair of the Essex Faith Covenant Steering Group (EFCSG) when the group meets in June.

Vivienne has more than 20 years’ experience in London and Essex working with people who are marginalised and disadvantaged. Vivienne will lead representatives from several faith based organisations to tackle loneliness, isolation and disadvantage across the pilot areas of Basildon, Braintree, Colchester, Chelmsford and Maldon.

Working with key community, voluntary, and statutory partners to build stronger communities, the steering group aims to raise awareness and share learning and knowledge between different faith communities, and across public services in Essex.

In June the steering group will discuss how to build on its achievements since its launch in October 2017 and agree its focus for the next two years. The EFCSG is accountable to the Essex Leaders and Chief Executives Group.
