A message from Professor Mike Thorne CBE, Independent Chair of the Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership
I am delighted to announce the launch of our High Potential Scheme (HPS) a brand new leadership programme aimed at equipping our teams with the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to become outstanding system leaders of the future.
Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership is one of only seven in the country to team up with the NHS Leadership Academy as part of this national pilot.
The scheme is designed to support aspiring clinical and non clinical leaders working across all health and care organisations within our Partnership to make the move to senior roles at an accelerated pace.
Fully funded, the two year career development programme will see up to 20 participants matched with a career coach and help them gain practical leadership experience in a range a roles and settings and develop their strategic skills through a variety of projects.
Please do encourage applications from right across our member organisations as the experiences of the first cohort will not only be crucial as we move towards becoming an Integrated Care System but will also influence the structure of the leadership programme for future applicants. Our application process opens on 9 March 2020.
