The Essex Local Delivery Pilot (LDP) which is tackling population levels of physical inactivity across the county ran a successful workshop at the recent Essex Assembly on how the principles and methods of  ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) can make a real difference to the capacity and vibrancy in local communities.  The LDP is one of eight projects sponsored by the Essex Assembly to test how whole system change can improve the lives of Essex residents.

 

 

The Essex LDP is following up the Essex Assembly workshop (pictured above) with the full 2 day ABCD course, delivered by our partners Nurture Development, on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th November. The course offers an in-depth understanding of how to apply the ABCD methodology to the culture and services of your organisation. A booklet is attached for further information.

We are offering all delegates who attended the recent Essex Assembly a maximum of two places for you or your nominated colleagues. The cost of the course is £250, which will be covered by the LDP, so there will be no fee to pay.
