Tendring catalyses collaborative energy

Tendring District Council kick-started its Future of Essex champions campaign by engaging more than 250 staff, and members, to explore what The Future of Essex means for its organisation, and how staff can contribute and embed the vision in their work.

Ian Davidson, Chief Executive, led a number of thematic workshops with staff that linked the Council’s Transformation Plans, Corporate Budget and the Garden Communities project with the seven ambitions set out in The Future of Essex.
More than 180 ideas were generated by staff, including actions to raise the aspirations of children, tackle social isolation and encourage formal career paths to caring.
